Northside is fencing a new area to create a playzone for children. It is going to require a decent amount of money to accomplish, so Rev Wayne McHugh has decided to undertake a 30km walk around our Mackay Uniting Churches on 27 March 2021, raising money for this creative project.
The really great news at Northside Mackay is growth, including substantial growth in numbers of children. For free time, we currently have 2 swings for children, and 2 swings don’t divide neatly into 20+ children. We’re making more changes than just this, but this one is bigger than our financial resources.
